Our Grading System

Our grading system ensures transparency and clarity when purchasing second-hand clothing. Each item is carefully inspected and categorised into one of four grades based on its condition.

  • A - Like New: Barely worn, no visible signs of wear, no defects or alterations.
  • B - Gently Used: Light wear, minor fading or pilling, no major flaws.
  • C - Fair Condition: Noticeable wear, some minor stains or small repairs.
  • D - Well-Worn: Significant wear, visible flaws like stains, holes, or heavy fading.

Grade A (Like New) includes garments that show little to no signs of wear, maintaining their original quality. Grade B (Gently Used) features items with minimal wear, such as slight fading or pilling, but no major flaws. Grade C (Fair Condition) consists of pieces with noticeable signs of use, including minor stains or small repairs, yet still fully wearable. Grade D (Well-Worn) includes heavily used items with visible imperfections like stains, holes, or fading, often appealing to those who appreciate vintage character or up cycling opportunities. This system helps customers make informed decisions, ensuring they receive items that match their expectations.
